A church without walls
Since about the 4th century, the Christian church has adopted the pagan idea that the church is to be made up of a religious professional and his audience. The professional (called father, reverend, etc.) does the religious stuff whilst the congregation sits back and enjoys the show. |

After the Order of Melchizedek, Part 1
One problem that the book of Hebrews addresses is whether the early Jewish Christians should keep the laws of the Old Covenant or not. Greg addressed the important difference between the priesthood of Jesus Christ and the Levitical priesthood. |

After the Order of Melchizedek, Part 2
Some people reject the Bible and the Christian faith because they say it is “too narrow.” God seems to be interested in only one small nation, Israel, which stems from the one individual, Abraham, and from all this comes the one savior, Jesus. What about all the other countries of the world both today and in the ancient times? Greg discussed the strategy God uses to reach the whole world. |

Dividing up the Plunder
When we forget that we live in the midst of a battlefield, our faith becomes merely religion. Whe we recognize that there is an Enemy who seeks to kill and destroy; our faith becomes the weapon of God’s victory! Salvation through Christ is not only for our personal sins, it is the power of God to defeat the enemy as well! |

Speaking the Truth in Love
No Christian should ever suffer alone. We are, by virtue of being members of the Body of Christ, members of one another! This means that we are called to share each others burdens.
God calls the church to be a place that is safe for wounded people. It is here that healing can be found and a new life begun! |

Revive Us OH LORD
Some things can be passed on from one generation to another. Faith and spiritual passion are not among them. Each generation, in fact each individual, must experience the power and presence of God for themselves. Greg discussed what a revival is and what we can do to be ready for God to “revive” us. |

The Unity of the Church
The Church seems to have lost the vision for being united as one in Christ. We fight over points of disagreement rather than cooperating for the sake of lost souls. It seems we value our own sense of “correctness” more than the souls that could be won if we worked together. Dr. Boyd calls the church back to a united vision of the Body of Christ for the sake of the lost. |

Godly Leadership Godly Submission
Christ’s command to submit to each other undermines any authoritarian claims for control. Our desire to “lord over one another” is a direct result of the Fall.
A central theme of the Gospel insists that, in the Church, there are to be NO claims to preference or power on the basis of race, gender, class or any other arbitrary distinctions. |

Let Freedom Ring
Historically, the Bible has been used to support slavery; especially by people claiming to be Christians. How are we to understand passages which seem to suggest this?
In Christ, we are all united. The many races of the world are to be reconciled to each other because we are all reconciled to God in Christ. |

It Is Not God's fault

Evil and Chaos
When dealing with evil in the world, we have a choice to make. Will we ask the question “WHY” and seek to find out who is to blame? Or will we ask the question “HOW” and seek to cooperate with God in bringing good out of every evil situation? Greg addressed the problem of evil and chaos in the world. |

Money and the Body of Christ
Money. America’s heartbeat and lifeblood. Money is also one of the most suspicious areas of Church life in the eyes of the general public.

Many people have argued that Jesus was actually an angel or some other type of being that is less than fully God. There is a sound Biblical defense against this claim.

Job's Prayer of Desperation
There are times when God DOESN'T answer prayer. Sometimes it feels like God has withdrawn, and left us abandoned on the front line. Many holy biblical people prayed the prayer "Lord, where are you?!" It is important to be real with God no matter where you are in your life. This message releases us from the idea that we must pray a certain way, and not get angry at God. |

Prayer 101Open Our Eyes Lord
There is a difference between a belief or understanding of abstract ideas, and living in the reality of those abstractions. By moving from belief to living reality, our lives are impacted. The bible says that Satan "...has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ..." We need to turn over our areas of unbelief, and behold the face and the glory of God! |

Prayer 101Dealing with the "S" Word
"Sin" is an old archery term for "missing the mark." Ignoring it, packing it away, justifying it, or denying it, won't change the fact that sin is real. It needs to be seen clearly and dealt with. Prayer 101 Pray for me
Since God is all-powerful and completely good, isn’t God going to do all the good things we might pray for anyway? Why pray for those things, then. Dr. Boyd shows from Scripture that God chooses our prayers as a means of getting things done that otherwise will not happen if we do not pray! |

Physical Healing
Healing is not a footnote to the bible. The number one thing Jesus did, next to teaching, was healing; It was central to the mission of Jesus and the early church! However, there is much controversy over this issue. There is a "positive confession" movement, which says it is ALWAYS god's will to heal. Others say that healing was ONLY for the days of the apostles. How does one strike a balance with biblical truth? This is a very enlightening message on many beliefs regarding God's healing power. We can't begin to understand the whole picture and the workings of heaven. Realizing this, we can't box God into our expectations! |

This message discusses beginning to see the reality of the spiritual realm. Paul tells us that "...our struggle in not against flesh and blood..." Praise Prayer
Praise is the single, most frequently commanded activity in the bible! While coming to a city, Jesus healed 10 lepers. After getting verification of cleanliness (and re-admission to the city), only one of them took the time to return to Jesus to thank and praise him. Christ then asked if 10 were not healed, and why did only one return to praise God. Every breathing moment of our lives is a gift from God. The bible says "The earth is filled with the glory of God!" Praise should come before work, family, friends, everything! The bible says that "God inhabits the praises of his people;" When we praise God, and his Spirit begins to inhabit that praise, all that we know about Him in our heads, begins to become a reality in our heart. |

Moving Mountains with Prayer
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions.... Much of God's will, which is or is not carried out, is a direct result of prayer. Our prayers are not simply nice inconsequential thoughts or words. Prayer is the means by which things in the spiritual realm get done - a spiritual law of cause and effect. God attaches an incredible amount of promises to prayer; lives, cities, even nations have hung on the prayer of people. Prayer accomplishes more than we could ever do on a physical level; If we do only one thing to make a difference, it should be prayer! |

Problems with Prayer
If God is all-powerful, why is the world full of horrible things? Why do things happen that go against His will? Why doesn't God just take control when things get bad/crazy? Why does God NOT answer some prayers? Most of God's answers to prayer are not lightening striking miracles. Most prayer is answered after the fact, when we aren't even looking for, and thus fail to notice the answer. Greg talks about many other misconceptions and problems associated with prayer... Must prayer sound good, and be done in a specific manner? Is there a formula to use when praying? How do we go to God? Great message about openness to God! |

Do You Measure Up
How we pray reveals much about how we view God. Do we thank God that we are not so bad as the next person? Or are we like the tax collector, who, understanding his sin confessed it before God and was counted as righteous. Dr. Boyd discusses the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector.
Many people think that they are not good enough to be Christians. This is a tragic thought. It is precisely because we are NOT good enough that Christ died for us and we are now free to be Christians. Dr. Boyd discusses Gal. 5 where Paul said, “It is for freedom that Christ has set you free.” |

New Age Crash Course
In New Age philosophy, the ultimate authority for determining truth is personal experience. Demonic forces have the power to give people supernatural experiences (soul travel, channeling, crystal power, predicting the future, and many more). Meek is not weak
Why is Jesus always portrayed as a wimpy, quiet, soft man with a distant look in His eye? "Meek," from the original Greek, means "tame (i.e. not a wild animal)". Taming a wild animal doesn't make it any less of an animal. It doesn't take away the animal's strength or abilities; it gives the animal "control," and the ability to live in harmony with its surroundings. This analogy stands true for us, also. Being meek has nothing to do with being weak. On the contrary, it takes often takes more strength to remain meek in some situations, than to simply blow up. |

Whe we recognize that there is an Enemy who seeks to kill and destroy; our faith becomes the weapon of God’s victory! Salvation through Christ is not only for our personal sins, it is the power of God to defeat the enemy as well! |

This Present Darkness
[Psalms 82] Who is Satan? What are angels and demons? This message is a great sequel to deals with the spiritual realm a bit more specifically. Greg talks about heavenly, created beings with free will - angels and demons. How does a Christian DO spiritual warfare? How do we view problems from a spiritual angle in addition to the physical? Great message on awareness of spiritual realm - from GOD' WORD. |

The World In Between
The Bible assumes that we are all caught up in a profound spiritual war. Most of the time, Christians in America don’t seem to be very aware of this reality. Rather than blaming blind people for being blind or beggars for being poor, Jesus understood that there are strong spiritual forces behind the evils of this world. |

Belt of TruthPart I
Belt of TruthPart II
Belt of TruthPart III
Part I - You can't hang the word of God on a pretense. Issues can only be covered for so long, before they come out in other areas of life. Fasten the belt of truth!
Part II - From the time we were born, our western culture has taught us NOT to see the spiritual realm. To think that what we can't see, can't effect us, is not realistic. Greg uses a great analogy of carbon monoxide poisoning to illustrate. What does the bible say about the spiritual realm (angels marching in the balsam trees).
Part III - Take time to listen to God; Is he Lord of your life? Is he Lord of THIS minute? How about THIS minute? THIS minute? Greg also discusses HOW God talks to us - through our mind, daydreams, thoughts, etc. |

Breastplate of Righteousness
Throughout the bible, Satan is often called "the accuser." There is a huge difference between the Holy Spirit's conviction (e.g. "you DID something unlovable"), and Satan's condemnation (e.g. "you ARE unlovable"). Satan will do anything to drive a wedge between you and God! Greg uses a great analogy of the grand canyon to illustrate our need for God and his righteousness. |

Lone Warriors?
[Ephesians 2:18-22] Once we have put on the armor of God, are we to fight as individual spiritual warriors? In the Bible, Paul uses the analogy of war gear of a Roman soldier to illustrate our function as a spiritual warrior. How did a Roman soldier function in relation to the rest of the army? How did they use their gear? In Bible times, these things were common knowledge; Paul's analogy was understood clearly. Greg also talks about the truth that there is something that must infuse ANY action or warfare - prayer! |

Helmet of Salvation
There are two aspects of salvation that apply to our wearing of the "helmet of salvation," that Paul talks about in Ephesians. How do we "put salvation on?" It's not just a passive one-time action; it is also more than that. This is a good message about the depth of salvation, and how we can actually utilize it. |

Sword of the SpiritPart I
Sword of the SpiritPart II
What's the big deal with the Word of God? The Bible says the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. It goes infinitely beyond simple words or teachings. The Word creates reality, sustains ALL things, gives new birth, speaks light into darkness - in creation and in ourselves, etc. The Word of God is alive and always working. You cannot be exposed to it and not be changed. As believers, we have been given access to this infinite power - it's the sword by which we are to fight our battles. As our enemy, Satan will do what he can to keep us from using this might weapon (truth) against his lies. Greg gives examples of many powerful and common way in which the enemy does this. This is an awesome message on the incredible depth and power of the Word of God! |

Airing out the Tomb
When Lazarus was raised from the dead (John 11:1-46), he had new life, but the stench of death was also still with him. So it is with us. We have new life in Christ, but we may carry with us things from the time when we were dead in sin |

By the time we become Christians, much of who we are has been determined for us by our lives so far. BUT CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! The new identity we are given in Christ will require some new direction for our lives.
As we find new direction for our lives in Christ, we inevitably will need to sacrifice things in our lives that are not compatible with where God is taking us. |
